TESDA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2022

 TESDA Scholarship Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is offering Skills Training and Scholarship programs in 2022. It is open to everyone including OFWs.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) provides different scholarships and financial assistance in order to encourage more Filipinos to take Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).TVET produces competent workers armed with skills that are required in high-demand and high-wage jobs locally and abroad. Thus, to make TVET education more accessible and desirable to more Filipinos, there are many free TESDA courses that you can take under TESDA scholarship programs.

Interested applicants should apply online to avail the TESDA Scholarship programs under the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET).There are three (3) available scholarships that TESDA Scholarship is currently offering: the Training for Work Scholarship Programs (TWSP), Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA), Special Training for Employed Program (STEP)

Applicants, however, need to meet the minimum requirements to be accepted in particular program. The requirement details can be read at the official website of TESDA (www.tesda.gov.ph/education).he Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will bring its scholarships closer to those who want to avail of free skills training and even help its graduates in finding a job.

This after TESDA Director General Guiling ‘Gene” Mamondiong has stepped up the agency’s promotion of the scholarship grants in the provinces, municipalities and districts, when he talked about the two-day National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Enrollment and Jobs Bridging which will be held on February 27-28.

Mamondiong said that the national TVET enrollment and jobs bridging will be held simultaneously nationwide in local government units (LGUs), sports complex, malls, a municipal stadium, and other designated areas.

The event aims to reach out to people the various programs of TESDA which they may avail of, he said.

“This activity will be conducted in partnership with the Local Government Units (LGUs), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Regional/Provincial Offices of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), companies/industries, technical-vocational education institutions (TVIs) and other stakeholders,” said Mamondiong.

Enrollment is open to all Filipinos age 15 and above for those interested to pursue various technical-vocational (tech-voc) courses.

Requirements for the enrollment include valid ID or NSO birth certificate and 1×1 picture. On the other hand, job applicants should bring their TESDA certificate and resume.

Mamondiong said the event likewise aims to extend to assistance to TESDA graduates in finding employment.

This will serve as “social marketing” and “advocacy mechanism” of TVET and TESDA, he added.

Mamondiong said that the TESDA scholarship program is expected to serve as a driving force for change and upliftment of the lives of the of Filipino people who will contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

The TESDA chief has also released new rules in awarding scholarship grants under the 2022 Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), in line with the TESDA Reform and Development Agenda.

3 STEPS ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS OF TESDA SCHOLARSHIP

Interested applicants need a desktop / laptop computer that is connected to the internet plus 5 to 10 minutes of their time to complete the three steps online application process. They should first visit www.tesda.gov.ph/education then follow the steps below:

STEP 1 START NEW TESDA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 

1.1 Fill up the form
– Applicants need to supply their complete name, permanent mailing address, gender, date of birth, email address, birthplace, and full name of parents / guardian and their permanent mailing address.
1.2 Click the CREATE Button
– “Create” button is located at the lower left portion of the online application form.

1.3 Receive the Learner’s ID
– After filling up the form, applicants will receive a confirmation email which includes their unique Learner’s ID

STEP 2 SELECTING THE TESDA TRAINING PROGRAM

2.1 Click on the TESDA Technology Institute
– Applicants should first choose their current region and name of school (optional) then hit the search button. The list of tesda accredited schools will appear, applicants have to click on each school to know the courses they are offering.
2.2 Select the course
– Applicants need to choose their preferred technical vocational course offered by their chosen school
2.3 Enter the applicants Last name and unique Learner’s ID
2.4 Verify the profile
2.5 Application complete

STEP 3 FEEDBACK FROM TESDA SCHOLARSHIP OFFICE

– Applicants are advised to check their email regularly for the feedback coming from TESDA Office. The feedback will consist of information about the date of training and venue of the training school.

Aside from the mentioned scholarship programs, TESDA also has 40 courses offered online for free, and 5 foreign language courses available at respective TESDA Language Skills Institute (LSI) also free of charge.

Based on the records of TESDA, from year 2010 to second quarter of 2022, there are total of 10,543,440 aspirants who were able to complete the TESDA Vocational Education and Training (TVET) from online programs, institutional training programs, and enterprise-based programs. The records also show that 64.4 percent of the graduates from year 2005 to present are already employed.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang TESDA ay ang sangay ng gobyerno na naatasan upang pangasiwaan ang technical-vocational education at training (TVET) system sa bansa.
Maliban sa pagpapatupad ng iba’t-ibang programa at proyekto, ang TESDA ay nagtatakda rin ng policy directions at guidelines ng resource allocation para sa mga pribado at pampublikong TVET institution
